Lafayette Anthropometer is constructed of aluminum and it uses a spring-loaded ball bearing in a sliding C-shaped arm to provide accurate and precise measurement. The Large Anthropometer has a range of zero to 60cm in 0.1cm increments which allows for measuring of shoulder width, long bone length and chest depth. The Small Anthropometer has a range of zero to 30cm in 0.1cm increments which allows for measuring of wrist, elbow, knee, ankle and smaller muscle masses like the bicep and calf.
